EQUINE INHERENCE

This is a series composed of 8 artistic configurations of oil on canvas and mixed techniques (acrylic, oil and charcoal) with dimensions ranging from 25cms to 150cms.  In it, the horse is captured using realism based on the wild animal's particular beauty, that which has been relevant in the history of art all the way back to the Paleolithic art of the The Altamira and Lascaux caves where around 364 figures of horses have been found, then passing through Greece from the eastern pediment of the temple of Zeus in Olympia where the preparations for the races between Pelops and Oenomaus are exhibited in sculpted marble, to the altarpiece of The Garden of Earthly Delights of Bosco, where you can find a significant number of horses in their full delirium of temptations and punishments.
Equine art is as old as art itself then, there are many cultures and artists who have wanted to capture this magnificent animal, and this series has the precise goal to express such an idea, the importance of the horse from the very representation of the animal, with all its perfect forms, capturing  their essence, personality, energy and vitality in the most faithful outline of their anatomy and texture, with the intention of being able to convey to the public the desire to be able to establish a feel for them through their appearances, the positioning of their legs, necks and ears.

AN INCONCLUSIVE ESSENCE

This is a series composed of 6 artistic configurations in a more mixed technique (charcoal, acrylic, colored pencils, and oil) with measures ránking from 25cm x to 70cm, exploring new techniques to achieve a synchrony between the realistic perception of the horse and the brushstroke with ease and dynamism  that transmits movement and strength in each work done. Here the exploration and the encounter with the materials help to establish an individual character in the work, managing a conveyance of sensitivity and love that the artist has for these animals, creating an impact on the emotions of the viewer.
